Tickets and booking
Entrance tickets are seasonal: 105 RMB from 1 March to 31 October, 85 RMB from 1 November to the end of February, valid any day of the week. Entry is free for children under 1.2 m tall, seniors aged 70 and above, military personnel and similar categories carrying valid ID.
One caveat shapes the booking decision: discounts and free entry cover the main entrance ticket only — shuttle and other transport fees are charged on top. The pack lists a single gate price per season with no advance-purchase or online rate, so paying the standard price on arrival is the straightforward default. Published prices and hours are flagged as reference only and subject to actual conditions; confirm by phone on 023-77790777 or 4008023666 (023-61305000 and 023-65165251 are also listed) before travelling.
Entrance and routes
Two entry routes are documented. Arriving directly, take a bus from the Wulong bus station to the Wulong County Visitor Center — specifically the county visitor center, not the one at Xiannü Town — and continue to the crack on the scenic area’s eco-shuttle. Coming from the Three Natural Bridges, head to the exit parking lot there and board the designated transfer shuttle: traffic between the two sites is centralized on this shuttle, with a ride of about 10 minutes.
The site itself sits beside Baiguo Village on County Road 787, Xiannüshan Subdistrict, Wulong District, Chongqing — useful for setting a navigation pin.
Photo spots
The pack names no individual viewpoints, and the sight is the crack itself: a narrow gorge covered on a single 1-3 hour route rather than a set of separate lookouts, so plan photography along the walk rather than around one destination.
Timing is the main lever. The park opens at 08:00 from June to August and 08:30 the rest of the year, and closes at 16:30 from September to April and 17:00 from May to August — shoot inside those windows. Interior light conditions in the crack are not documented; if specific light or equipment questions matter to a shoot, check current conditions by phone (023-77790777).
Timing and crowds
Opening hours, daily: 08:30-16:30 from 1 September to 30 April; 08:30-17:00 throughout May; 08:00-17:00 from 1 June to 31 August. The pack contains no crowd or visitor-volume data, so no reliably quiet day or hour can be named. The practical default: arrive at opening time — 08:00 in summer, 08:30 otherwise — and work back from the fixed closing time; with a 1-3 hour visit plus shuttle transfers on either side, an early start protects the schedule. Hours are published as reference only and subject to change, so a quick call to 023-77790777 or 4008023666 before setting out is the reliable check.
Walking and effort
Plan for 1-3 hours on foot — the pack’s suggested duration, which frames Longshuixia as a half-day sight rather than a full-day hike. The pack does not include trail length, elevation gain or stair counts, so treat any effort estimate beyond the time budget as unverified.
What is documented: access is by shuttle on both routes (the eco-shuttle from the county visitor center, or the 10-minute transfer from the Three Natural Bridges), so the walking is the visit inside the crack itself. If low-effort or step-free access is a hard requirement, confirm trail conditions by phone (023-77790777, 4008023666) before committing.
Getting there
Getting there runs through two documented chains. Direct: a bus from the Wulong bus station to the Wulong County Visitor Center — the county one, explicitly not the visitor center at Xiannü Town — then the scenic area’s eco-shuttle to the crack. From the Three Natural Bridges: the transfer shuttle at that site’s exit parking lot is the unified link between the two scenic areas, about 10 minutes per ride.
For navigation, the address is beside Baiguo Village on County Road 787, Xiannüshan Subdistrict, Wulong District, Chongqing. Shuttle and eco-bus fares are charged separately from the entrance ticket; the pack does not list those amounts.
Cost breakdown
Entrance ticket: 105 RMB from 1 March to 31 October; 85 RMB from 1 November to the end of February. Free with valid ID: children under 1.2 m, seniors aged 70 and over, military personnel and similar categories.
The line item to budget beyond the ticket is transport: shuttle and eco-bus fees are explicitly not covered by the entrance ticket or its concessions, and the pack does not list those fares, so leave headroom for them. No other costs — cableways, guides, lockers — are documented; treat anything beyond ticket plus shuttle fares as unverified. Prices are published as reference only and subject to actual conditions.
