How we verify

Every factual claim on RoamSaga follows a three-step pipeline.

1. Collect

We gather structured data from major Chinese travel platforms: descriptions, opening hours, ticket prices, review counts and traveller tips. Each item keeps its source identifier so it can be re-checked.

2. Cross-check

Key facts are compared against at least one second source — usually the official site of the attraction or transport operator. Where the two disagree, the official source wins and the page says so.

3. Date-stamp

Each page records when its facts were last verified, per category (hours, prices, transport). Stale pages are queued for refresh; nothing silently ages out.
