Tickets and booking
Admission is the only item the data pack prices: day tickets run 60 RMB for adults and 30 RMB for half-price tickets, and a night ticket is listed at 54 RMB, valid year-round, Monday-Sunday. The pack names no online booking platform, advance-purchase requirement or capacity cap, so no booking channel can be stated from it; the reliable move for confirming current ticketing is to call the park on 020 8450 8106, 020 8450 2903 or 020 8450 7996 (+86 20 from overseas). One scoping note: the pack attaches its “for reference only” caveat to the posted opening hours, not to the ticket prices.
Entrance and routes
The pack gives a single arrival point: West Outer Ring Road, University Town (Higher Education Mega Center), Panyu District, Guangzhou. It names no individual gates, side entrances or alternative approaches, so treat that address as the entrance to navigate to. The Fan 201 bus stops at a stop named Lingnan Impression Park within walking distance of the gate — the pack’s only stated access route. If buying a concession ticket, carry the matching document to the gate: the pack specifies that discounted tickets are purchased and checked on entry against valid ID, and a passport is explicitly listed as acceptable for the 60-64 senior bracket.
Photo spots
The data pack names no specific photo spots, viewpoints or lookouts, so no shot list can be built from it. What it does fix are the light windows: the standard day session runs 09:30-18:00 (Feb 15-Dec 31, daily), while between Jan 1 and Feb 14 the park stays open to 21:30 on weekdays. A night ticket is priced at 54 RMB year-round in the price list, but the extended evening hours appear only in the Jan 1-Feb 14 weekday window — reconfirm by phone if shooting after dark is the point of the visit.
Timing and crowds
Posted hours: 09:30-18:00 daily from Feb 15 to Dec 31; 09:30-21:30 Monday-Friday from Jan 1 to Feb 14. The pack flags these hours “for reference only” and reconfirming by phone (numbers under ticket-booking) is the reliable move. The suggested visit length is 1-3 hours, so an entry by mid-afternoon comfortably covers the full span before the 18:00 close on standard days. The pack carries no visitor-volume, queue or seasonality data, so no crowd pattern can be stated; the only dated variables it records are the seasonal hours and the birthday rule — free entry on the visitor’s birthday with a Chinese second-generation resident ID card.
Walking and effort
The pack sizes the visit at 1-3 hours and provides no distances, terrain, elevation or accessibility data, so physical effort cannot be quantified from it. Plan it as a walk-through sight of one to three hours on foot. If step-free access or mobility support matters to your group, the pack offers nothing to confirm it with; the park’s phone lines are the channel to check.
Getting there
The pack records exactly one transit link: the Fan 201 bus, which stops at Lingnan Impression Park (bus stop) with a walk to the entrance. No metro line, taxi fare, driving route or parking information appears in the pack, so connections from elsewhere in Guangzhou cannot be stated from it — verify those in a mapping app against the address: West Outer Ring Road, University Town, Panyu District, Guangzhou.
Cost breakdown
Admission is the only costed item in the pack. Day ticket: 60 RMB adult, 30 RMB half price. Night ticket: 54 RMB. Half-price eligibility: seniors aged 60-64 with valid documents (ID card, passport or senior card are the listed documents); minors aged 6-18; full-time students at undergraduate level and below with a student ID; children between 1.2 m (exclusive) and 1.5 m (inclusive) tall; teachers with personal ID plus a teacher qualification certificate; one accompanying carer of a visitor with intellectual, lower-limb or other severe disabilities; and military-family, bereaved-family and serving armed-police categories with valid credentials. Free entry: children aged 6 or under, or 1.2 m and under in height; seniors 65 and over with valid ID; visitors on their birthday with a Chinese second-generation resident ID — a document most overseas passport holders will not hold; active and disabled military, Guangzhou-registered veterans and pensioned officers; firefighters, fire-service veterans and fire-academy cadets; disabled visitors and certified recipients of subsistence or extreme-poverty assistance; tour guides, drivers and teachers accompanying a group, plus promotional pass holders; and, within the city, blood donors with 10 or more whole-blood donations (or 20 or more donations in total) and volunteers with 480 or more hours of documented service. The pack lists no food, transport or merchandise prices, so budget anything beyond admission outside its evidence.
