Tickets and booking
Admission is sold either as a 75 RMB combined ticket or as individual sight tickets. The combined ticket covers Little Lotus Garden and the Jiaye Library, Zhang Shiming’s Former Residence, the Liu Family Residence, Zhang Jingjiang’s Former Residence, and Yi Garden. Individual prices are 25 RMB for Little Lotus Garden and the Jiaye Library, 20 RMB each for Zhang Shiming’s Former Residence, the Liu Family Residence, and Zhang Jingjiang’s Former Residence, and 10 RMB for Yi Garden, and these prices apply daily throughout the year. One caveat before paying: Yi Garden, although included in the combined ticket, is listed as temporarily closed. The data pack contains prices and inclusions only, with no booking-channel details, so travellers should confirm purchase options and Yi Garden’s current status by phone on 0572-3016999 or 0572-3018077.
Entrance and routes
Nanxun Town is located at 51 Renrui Road, Nanxun District, Huzhou, Zhejiang. By rail, the reference point is Huzhou Station on the Xuanhang Railway - described as East China’s second-largest transport corridor - about 34 km away; the line runs south to Hangzhou and north to Nanjing and Beijing, and the Huzha Railway also passes through the area. The listed approach is to take a train to Huzhou or Jiaxing and then transfer by road to the Nanxun Town tourist area.
From Huzhou Railway Station there are two public options. By local bus, take route 21 to the Bus Company stop, walk to Zhangjicun stop, then take route 101a to Tai’an Road Station; from there, travellers can walk to the scenic area or take a pedicab for roughly 3-4 RMB. By coach, Zhebei Passenger Transport Center runs express buses to Nanxun every day from 06:30 to 17:30, about one every 15 minutes. Separately, Huzhou New Bus Station sends frequent express buses to Nanxun’s Tai’an Road Passenger Terminal, one every 20 minutes, with about an hour on the road and a fare of about 8 RMB.
From Jiaxing Railway Station, take bus route 22, 4, 32, or 5 to Jiaxing North Bus Station, where coaches run to Nanxun over a journey of about 57 km.
Photo spots
The data pack includes no photography-specific information - no named viewpoints, no photo guidance, and no data on where visitors take pictures - so a shot list has to be built from the sight inventory rather than curated photo recommendations. The named attractions are exactly those on the combined ticket: Little Lotus Garden and the Jiaye Library, Zhang Shiming’s Former Residence, the Liu Family Residence, Zhang Jingjiang’s Former Residence, and Yi Garden. Yi Garden is currently listed as temporarily closed, so it cannot be counted on for a visit or a photograph. The town area itself is open around the clock, which leaves the timing of any shots entirely up to the visitor.
Timing and crowds
The town area is open around the clock, every day of the year, and the suggested duration for a visit is three hours or more; Yi Garden is the exception, listed as temporarily closed. In practice, timing is shaped less by opening hours than by transport windows: express coaches from Zhebei Passenger Transport Center run daily from 06:30 to 17:30 at roughly 15-minute intervals, while express coaches from Huzhou New Bus Station run about every 20 minutes and take about an hour to reach Nanxun’s Tai’an Road Passenger Terminal. The pack contains no crowd-level data, so there is no basis for naming quiet or busy periods; planning around the coach schedules and the three-hour-plus suggested duration is the safest approach. Current conditions can be checked on 0572-3016999 or 0572-3018077.
Walking and effort
The pack rates no trails, elevation, or difficulty - this is a town visit rather than a hike. The effort profile is several hours of walking, in line with the suggested duration of three hours or more, with motorized help available: pedicabs and taxis operate inside the scenic area, pedicabs charge about 3 RMB per kilometre, and the hop from Tai’an Road Passenger Terminal to Little Lotus Garden costs about 3-4 RMB. Travellers who would rather not walk between sights can use those for the longer legs. No stair, bridge, or terrain details are included in the pack, so anyone with mobility concerns should check conditions by phone on 0572-3016999 or 0572-3018077 before arriving.
Getting there
Inside the scenic area, the listed options are pedal tricycles (pedicabs) and taxis. Pedicabs are described as one of the town’s main forms of local transport and convenient for getting around; the fare is about 3 RMB per kilometre, and the trip from Tai’an Road Passenger Terminal to Little Lotus Garden runs about 3-4 RMB. Tai’an Road functions as the practical arrival hub: express coaches from Huzhou New Bus Station terminate at Tai’an Road Passenger Terminal, and the bus 101a connection from the Huzhou Railway Station sequence ends at Tai’an Road Station, from which the scenic area can be reached on foot or by a pedicab ride of about 3-4 RMB.
Cost breakdown
Admission: the combined ticket costs 75 RMB, while buying every sight individually totals 95 RMB - 25 RMB for Little Lotus Garden and the Jiaye Library, 20 RMB each for Zhang Shiming’s Former Residence, the Liu Family Residence, and Zhang Jingjiang’s Former Residence, and 10 RMB for Yi Garden. Transport: the express coach from Huzhou New Bus Station costs about 8 RMB, and pedicabs inside town run about 3 RMB per kilometre, with the Tai’an Road to Little Lotus Garden hop at 3-4 RMB. The pack includes no food, accommodation, or other cost data, so a fuller budget beyond admission and local transport cannot be drawn from it. Current prices can be confirmed on 0572-3016999 or 0572-3018077.
